Spilled Paint

1. If the paint is still wet

• Wipe immediately with a damp cloth or paper towels.

• For latex paint, use warm water + mild soap to clean residue.

• Don’t scrub too hard—protect the finish.

2. If the paint is dried

• Latex paint:

  • Use warm water, a scrub pad, or plastic scraper to loosen it [6].

• Concrete floors:

  • Use a wire brush or even a power washer (~3000 PSI) for heavy stains [1].

3. For tougher spots

• Use a plastic putty knife (not metal) to gently scrape.
